Our Leadership

The Queer-Trans Project is a volunteer-run organization with an egalitarian leadership style. All members of the organization share equal power and responsibility, and meet regularly to brainstorm new ideas and modify existing ones as needed. They represent those most directly impacted by our organizing issues with lived experience.

Nathaniel Rojas

Board Member

Nathaniel came out at 13 and went through all of high school openly trans in one of the most progressive cities in the country. Yet he still struggled in some ways that trans kids shouldn't have to go through. Trans youth hold a strong place in his heart and he wants to do whatever he can to stand up for trans and enby kids. He wants to do everything he can to promote hormone blockers and safety for trans kids to express themselves in the way that they feel most comfortable without discrimination in school.
